Forza Horizon 6 takes place entirely in Japan, with Tokyo as its massive centerpiece. Playground Games has created the largest open world in Horizon history. Here's what we know about the map.
Tokyo (The Heart)
Tokyo is approximately 5 times larger than the largest city in Forza Horizon 5. Key areas include:
- Shibuya - The iconic crossing, neon lights, perfect for street races
- Shinjuku - skyscrapers and expressway sprints
- Tokyo Bay - waterfront roads and bridge jumps
- Akihabara - electronic district vibes
- Tokyo Tower - landmark danger sign location
Kyoto
Ancient capital with traditional Japanese architecture, bamboo forests, and mountain roads. Expect tight, scenic routes through Fushimi Inari and Arashiyama.
Osaka
Vibrant port city featuring the famous Dotonbori nightlife district, Osaka Castle, and access to the fictional Kansai Airport Circuit.
Hokkaido
Northern island with vast wilderness, volcanic mountain passes, and snow-covered roads. Perfect for rally-style driving and scenic routes.
Okinawa
Tropical southern islands with beach roads, coral reef views, and unique island culture. Think coastal cruising and hill climbs.
